FAQ

Q. Mold filling never shows red.
A. Are you looking at it with risers placed? Without risers, the metal comes out far easier to reach than in reality. If it still shows no red, the part has a short flow distance for its thickness — a shape where mold filling is unlikely to be a problem.
Q. A spot I marked in calibration does not turn red.
A. Does it have a ▲? If so, it is “a position calibration cannot explain” (see Marks with a ▲). If not, there may still be few records, so it is taking effect cautiously as a provisional value.
Q. How should I treat purple faces?
A. It means “cannot be judged”. It can be called neither risky nor safe, so judge that area from experience, as before.
Q. How far can I trust the void marker diameter?
A. It is a guide to scale. Rely mainly on location and on comparing several spots with each other.
Q. If I apply a calibration, does it affect other parts?
A. No. It applies only to the session where you called it, and the defaults are not overwritten.
Q. It says “capped at max”.
A. It means that making that one riser any larger is no longer practical. Consider revising the number or the position of risers.
Q. It says “needs about ◯ GB of memory” and does not start.
A. The memory of this PC is expected to be too small, so it stops before starting. Try making the riser thinner or shorter, or compute on a PC with more memory (see System requirements).
Q. I moved a riser by mistake.
A. 〔↶ Undo〕 (Ctrl+Z) takes it back. Return to the risers you analyzed and the results are shown as they were.
Q. A calibration mark will not go on.
A. Marks are added from the right-click menu (Occurred / Did not occur). Left-click moves the view.
