System requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 / 11 |
| Input | 3D file (STL / STEP / IGES) |
| Size | Up to about 500 mm cube, including rigging |
| Memory | 16 GB or more recommended (also runs on 8 GB; large parts or very thick risers may not be computable, and in that case the app tells you on screen before it starts computing) |
What to expect on a PC with 8 GB of memory
| Task | PC with 8 GB |
|---|---|
| Loading and analyzing a part of ordinary size (up to about 240 mm) | ○ (a few seconds to just under a minute) |
| Checking risers of ordinary thickness | ○ (about 40 seconds to 2 minutes) |
| Auto size | ○ (about 2 to 6 minutes) |
| Analyzing a part at the size limit (480 mm cube) | Before starting, it tells you it needs about 9.1 GB of memory |
| Checking a very thick riser (⌀73 × 110) | Before starting, it tells you it needs about 14.1 GB of memory |
Values measured on test shapes. The time and memory needed vary with the shape of the part and the thickness of the risers.
When memory is expected to run short, it does not start computing and shows a message such as “Analyzing this part needs about ◯ GB of memory (this PC has ◯ GB, about ◯ GB free now).” If memory runs out partway, it tells you so in plain words.
While computing, 〔■ Cancel〕 stops it (about 1 second after you press it).
